dude – cake in the garbage can is a TRAVESTY. but you know, it looks like in this case it was the right thing.

I have a love/hate relationship with Bakerella – love looking at her site love all the gorgeousness she creates, and hate that I can never actually do any of it myself..

I found the fact that you tried to prop them up in your cheese grater container particularly funny. And I’d like to say in my defense that if they weren’t tasty, then I’d have been behind throwing them out as well. It’s just that ugly *alone* isn’t enough of a reason to justify throwing away chocolate.

I reckon I just sent some simpler recipes!!! I can hear you swearing, and am chortling away here…..try Rickety Uncle – butter, oatmeal, brown sugar and a bit of flour, bake and cut into squares!!! (still laughing!…)

Dammit woman, that was HIGH LARIOUS!! The pictures just made the story. I almost peed at the second ‘face.’

I would say you were a fool to try and get all fancy with your baking, but I probably would have tried the exact same thing if I had seen those cute pops. My results probably would have been the same too (and I can bake!)

So, note to motherly self: Keep it simple, stupid. Repeat as necessary.
